Greenlands Farm White Duck Red Cow 2020 harvest

The harvest is in

and we're excited.

Once again 2019/2020 was an incredibly dry year. With the vines under stress, the harvest finally arrived nearly a month early. We harvested some delicious Grenache and Cabernet. They seem to be developing very nicely so we'll see how they all turn out.

August 2020: We have bottled 500 Grenache wines which are low in sulphur and perfectly fruit and acid balanced. Served chilled they'll be a real treat for those long warm summer days.

A venue as big as your dreams.

Situated right in the middle of the three big towns of Swellendam, Robertson and Montagu, we really are the centre of the action. A huge new 500m2 multi-purpose shed perfect for weddings, music concerts, product launches, movie shoots or just about anything else your heart desires. Equipped with a professional kitchen, state of the art sound system, huge screen, spotless rest-rooms, plenty of secure parking and the most magnificent view found anywhere in South Africa.

Greenlands Farm Distillation Room

We have a very exciting

Gin on the way.

Our distillation room is equipped with traditional copper stills that very slowly distill the most aromatic potions. We are in the process of blending our first gin from botanicals found in our area of the Cape. We are really excited with the results so far, and once have the perfect blend, we'll launch it. If you’d like to hear about it before anyone else send us your contact details and we’ll keep you in the loop.

Making magic one stitch at a time.

Sara’s crocheting the most exquisite cotton cushion covers. Whilst the preferred format at the moment is 45cm x 45cm have a chat with Sara if there’s anything else you would like her to create. We got a blanket for the main bedroom. WOW!

Great gifts, farm produce, wine and craft. Always a surprise.

We love making stuff - from cool ceramic planters, to miniature ceramic succulents, from crocheted cushion covers to luxuriant soaps of every exotic favour plus chill oil and chill paste and... and.. problem is we just don’t have time to get out there and sell our stuff. So we thought "hey!" we’ll just keep it all in our own Shed Store and when people visit us for wine tasting or a meal or a movie they could browse about and maybe if they liked something they could buy it. Hey presto the Shed Store is up and running, still small, but getting bigger every day.
